The airline will operate four flights from Hong Kong to Bangkok and three flights from Bangkok to Hong Kong on Friday and Saturday, the firm said in a statement.
Cathay said one emergency flight it had scheduled to U-Tapao airport, a military airstrip south of Bangkok which has been used to ferry stranded visitors out of Thailand, would now be diverted to Bangkok's main airport.
'Arrangements will be made for passengers already booked on this special flight to return to Hong Kong on one of the airline's flights from Bangkok,' said the statement, released late on Wednesday.
Cathay has put on seven flights to U-Tapao during the blockade, helping bring back some 2,800 travellers to Hong Kong, the statement said. It also operated a charter flight for the Hong Kong government on December 1.
Around 350,000 travellers have been stranded in Thailand during the protests, which ended after the ruling party was dissolved and the prime minister stripped of his post by court order. --AFP
