S'pore shares close higher
SINGAPORE stocks closed higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index up 16.17 points, or 0.69 per cent, to 2,349.87.
About 2.4 billion shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 246 to 235.
