STI closes 2.87% higher
SINGAPORE shares closed higher on Thursday with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 62.57 points, or 2.87 per cent, at 2,241.60.
About 4.01 billion shares were traded.
Gainers beat losers 424 to 201.
