LOS ANGELES - STAR of the Twilight movie franchise, Robert Pattinson, has reportedly been dumped by his co-star, Kristen Stewart because he wanted to marry her.

According to entertainment media, Pattinson's relationship with Stewart made her feel pressured and smothered.

A source told OK! magazine: "Robert was talking marriage but she told him they needed a break."

Celebrity website Bang Showbiz also reported that it had been claimed that Stewart felt the couple's relationship was stopping her from spending time with friends and family.

The pair have also been arguing over how to continue their relationship once filming on the Twilight series of films ends, as they live in different countries, reported Bang Showbiz.

'Now The Twilight Saga: Eclipse has finished filming, there's been a lot of tension about the logistics of their relationship as Robert wants to go back to the UK, while Kristen prefers to stay in Los Angeles,' an insider told the website. -- REUTERS
