HOLLYWOOD - ACTORS Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have donated $US1 million (S$1.2 million) to a US hospital, said media reports on Wednesday.
The Hollywood star couple gave the generous contribution to St John's Hospital in Pitt's hometown of Springfield, Missouri, reported celebrity website Bang Showbiz.
The money will be used to establish a fund to pay for children's cancer specialists, reported news.com.au.
According to US media outlet, Pitt's brother Doug, said the treatment unit will be renamed the Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Centre in honour of their mother who is very passionate about children's health issues. -- AP
