LOS ANGELES - ACTOR Mel Gibson's girlfriend is suing a web domain provider for setting up a site that claims she is carrying twins, media reported on Friday.

A furious Oksana Grigorieva has launched a lawsuit accusing DreamHost.com of "cyber squatting".

The Russian singer wants at least US$120,000 (S$173,543) in damages, according to court documents obtained by Australian newspaper, The Daily Telegraph.

"The defendants have misappropriated and used the domain name in a blatant effort to impersonate and exploit the name, photograph, likeness and persona of internationally renowned model, pianist, musical composer and performer Oksana Grigorieva," the documents say. -- AP
