LOS ANGELES - AMERICAN actress and wife of Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, says she is looking forward to moving to Australia, said reports on Monday.

The actress will relocated to Melbourne later this year to film Don't Be Afraid of the Dark.

According to celebrity website Bang Showbiz, Holmes can't wait to get started on the movie.

She will be accompanied by her husband and daughter Suri.

"I'm really looking forward to it,' Holmes told TV show USA Today.

"The movie is really character-driven. It's really her journey becoming a mother. In the midst of that, there are unexpected scares." -- AFP
