LONDON - SINGER Amy Winehouse was booed and jeered at during her first performance for 2009, said reports on Tuesday.
She was so upset at the reaction during her performance at the St Lucia Jazz Festival that she began to cry.
Winehouse then collapsed on stage, reported the Daily Star.
"Amy could barely stand up, she didn't know the words to her songs. It's a disgrace,' said one unhappy fan.
'She was so drunk she didn't know where she was. She's a lost cause."
Winehouse, 25, played for just 45 minutes and the final track she attempted to sing, Valerie, was finished by her band without her.
"Amy was drinking heavily before the concert, she was really nervous about performing after so long,' one insider told the Daily Star. -- AFP
