LONDON - BRITISH glamour model Katie 'Jordan' Price is devasted that her husband, Australian singer Peter Andre, has left her, said reports on Tuesday.

The former topless model is reportedly said 'this is not what I want', after announcing their separation after almost four years of marriage.

"This is not what I want and the decision has been taken out of my hands. I will not comment further or do any interviews regarding the separation. But I will always love my Pete," she said.

According to The Sun newspaper, Jordan, who is known by both names, left the United Kingdom on Tuesday morning, taking the couple's two children with her.

The newspaper reported that Andre had Jordan due to her heavy drinking and said that pictures of her drunk in The Sun earlier in the week had been the final straw.

"From the moment she starts drinking I lose her and I don't get her back until the next morning," Andre reportedly said. "Kate's had problems with drink. She knows she can't handle it. It turns her into someone I don't recognise and I don't like."

The Mirror, another UK tabloid newspaper, reported that the couple split after an argument was caught on film.

The couple's reality TV show - Katie & Peter: Stateside - showed a heated arguement over whether a Hollywood shop assistant recognised them.

Although there had been recent speculation about the state of the celebrities' marriage, the pair had been photographed recently holding hands.

UK media outlets are now speculating that the couple will fight over their joint fortune, reportedly worth around S$60 million.
