MUSIC OF THE DESERT
The nine-member ensemble Tartit from the nomadic Tuareg people of Northern Mali, West Africa, will bring you a slice of nomadic desert life with their ancient desert music and recent compositions with vocals and instruments, such as the traditional tinde (drums) and the centuries-old Imzad (violin).
