Hong Kong - Cantopop sweetheart Vivian Chow and author Joe Nieh married at their home on Monday and sealed their low-key wedding with three kisses, said reports.
It was a happy ending to the tabloid saga which started when he was photographed kissing a pretty undergraduate and which threw the long-time couple into a brief crisis.
Nieh, the 44-year-old son of sci-fi writer Ni Kuang, and Chow, 41, exchanged vows with tears in their eyes, said Ming Pao Daily News. They also signed marriage documents and cut a cake. About 20 relatives and friends were present, including singer Leo Ku, actress Jo Kuk and Chow's manager.
The couple's parents were not around but the parents had performed a tea ceremony at the couple's house last Saturday, said the daily.
Chow, a DJ who became an actress and singer, has been with Nieh since 1989. He used Yes! magazine, a teen publication he owned, to promote her career.
