LONDON - POP star Boy George handcuffed a male escort to the wall and beat him with a metal chain as he tried to flee from a naked photo shoot, a London court heard on Monday.
The singer and disc jockey - being tried under his real name George O'Dowd - chained up Audun Carlsen on April 28 last year, Snaresbrook Crown Court was told at the start of his trial on assault and false imprisonment charges.
O'Dowd, 47, screamed 'whore' as he and another man pinned the 29-year-old Norwegian to the floor in his east London home, the court heard.
'I was so scared,' Carlsen said. 'He had a metal chain that he was hitting me with.'
The case is expected to last five days and O'Dowd denies all charges. -- AFP
