DIGITAL LIFE ROCK BAND CHALLENGE @

GEMUK GIRLS

AVENUE Q - THE MUSICAL

It's Sesame Street with a grown-up twist. One of the hottest shows in London's West End and Broadway and winner of the Best Musical 2004 Tony Award, Avenue Q takes you on a fun-filled romp with an ensemble of actors and some very adult-minded puppets belting out hilarious songs such as I'm Not Wearing Underwear Today. 'HARMONY FOR HUMANITY' (DANIEL PEARL WORLD MUSIC DAYS)

JOSE FELICIANO (MOSAIC)

It will be a concert of warmth, humour, eclectism and sweet Latin soul by Jose Feliciano, who plays genres ranging from bolero and flamenco to pop and the blues. One of the most prominent Latin-born guitarists, he has won six Grammy Awards and recorded 45 gold and platinum records.

A MUSICAL VOYAGE

It's a surprising marriage of classical southern Indian and western music. Join the Madras String Quartet from India, which will perform its own music based on Indian classical music combined with Western harmonic principles. Led by composer and violinist V.S. Narasimhan, the Chennai-based quartet includes Hemanthraj Muliyil (violin), B.J. Chandran (viola) and V.K. Sekar (cello). Part of Kalaa Utsavam, the Indian Festival of Arts.

FIRST LIGHT

This thought-provoking play by Nelson Chia, Toy Factory's associate artistic director, explores the richness of old age. Seven strangers have to revisit, live and re-enact the most significant moments in their lives as they face death. It stars veteran thespians such as Lim Kay Siu, Neo Swee Lin and Janice Koh.

PUCCINI GALA - A CELEBRATION OF PUCCINI'S WORKS

Opera fans and fans of Puccini should keep a date with this Puccini Gala and discover the sublime arias and music from a selection of his operas including Tosca, La Boheme, Madama Butterfly and Turandot. Conducted by Joshua Tan Kang Ming, this concert features the Singapore Lyric Opera Orchestra and sopranos, such as Ha Seok Bee (south Korea) and Cecilia Yap and Tan Khar Gee (Malaysia).

SNOW WHITE & THE SEVEN DWARFS

It's Snow White with a hilarious twist. Directed by Hossan Leong, Wild Rice's funny new pantomime, based on a book & lyrics by Alfian Sa'at, has Snow White being ordered to get a nip-tuck from the creepy Royal Surgeon. She runs off and meets the rapping, breakdancing Seven Dwarfs. It stars Elena Wang as Snow White, Sebastian Tan as The Queen and Dwayne Tan as Prince Charming.
