DANNY 'GC' Brown was not a happy camper on Survivor: Gabon.
The 26-year-old maintenance supervisor sealed his fate by mentally checking out of the game, even before the flame in his torch died out at Tribal Council last Friday.
'In the last few days out there, after I took the time to reflect on my experience, I just realised that it wasn't working out the way I'd hoped it to work.
'I was saying and doing things that weren't me,' says Brown, or GC as he is better known as around camp.
In the most recent episode, he told tribemates Matty Whitmore and Ken Hoang that he wanted 'to go home'.
He was almost left out of the immunity challenge after his tribemates could not find him when he took the kayak and went fishing alone.
The self-professed Survivor fanatic had trained in the gym and even studied Survivor manuals to pick up skills such as starting a fire before trying out for the reality show.
