Chowdhury's art on show
By deepika shetty

ONE of India's top contemporary artists Jogen Chowdhury will be showing 18 of his rare art pieces at ARTSingapore, an art fair that opens at Suntec City tomorrow.

Taken from the private collection of Japanese art collector Masanori Fukuoka, the artworks will showcase Chowdhury's signature style of sparse, drawing-like paintings in ink, pastel and oil.

Together with other Indian masters like M. F. Husain, V. S. Gaitonde and Tyeb Mehta, his works have done exceptionally well at international auctions.
