PUCCINI'S TURANDOT
Be uplifted by the music of Puccini at this opera about an icy Chinese princess who refuses to marry unless her suitor can solve three riddles. Held by the Singapore Lyric Opera to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Giacomo Puccini's birth (1858-1924). Performed in Italian with English and Chinese surtitles.
Discover the Syonan Jinja, a Shinto shrine, built during the Japanese Occupation in the MacRitchie Reservoir. A creative team from Singapore and Japan, led by Singapore director Choy Ka Fai, have re-imagined it as a sacred site in a tapestry of images, sound and movement. Written by local playwright Ng Yi-Sheng and presented by TheatreWorks.

Enjoy this heart-warming story about a boy who tried to touch the moon with his own reflection. At this interactive performance featuring puppetry and shadow play, children can learn how to cast animal shadows using their hands and fingers. This musical by the 150-strong ensemble of the Singapore Polytechnic Chinese Music Culture Club portrays several young adults and how they over their struggles through love and friendship. THE WRITE STUFF
This production features 12 stories written by children about crazy characters and madcap adventures. THE RAINBOW FISH
Be dazzled by this much-loved musical for the young and young at heart. Based on Marcus Pfister's award-winning stortbook, this story of the proud and pretty Rainbow Fish is told in a magical mix of black light, music and fishy mayhem. The script and lyrics are by Brian Seaward, the I theatre's artistic director, with music by Belinda Foo, the music writer with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.
