This 10-day Japanese Film Festival explores femininity in Japanese cinema, paying tribute to heroines, antogonists and muses in the silver screen. Today, catch Actress directed by Kon Ichikawa. Discover the Syonan Jinja, a Shinto shrine, built during the Japanese Occupation in the MacRitchie Reservoir. A creative team from Singapore and Japan, led by Singapore director Choy Ka Fai, have re-created and re-imagined it as a sacred site in a tapestry of images, sound and movement.
