THE man linked to the Yishun triple deaths two weeks ago was brought back to the crime scene on Friday to help detectives in their investigations.
Chinese national Wang Zhijian, 42, was inside the sixth-floor unit at Block 349 Yishun Avenue 11 for about three hours.
He left in a van at about 2.30 pm, smiling to reporters and photographers. He wore a red polo T-shirt and his right index finger was bandaged.
Wang, who was the women's flatmate, has been charged with the murder of Ms Zhang Meng, 42, whose body was found in the bedroom of the five-room flat on Sept 19.
The body of her 17-year-old daughter, Feng Jianyu, was also found dead in the flat. Both women suffered stab wounds.
A third woman, Ms Yang Jie, 36, was found dead at the foot of the block. Her 14-year-old daughter was critically injured in the flat but survived the attack. She is now recovering in hospital.
The four women are from China and the teenagers went to school here. Their families have flown in from China to collect the bodies.
Wang, who is considered the prime suspect in the deaths of the other two women, is expected to be back in court on Friday.
