SEOUL (South Korea) - A GROUP of 12 South Korean tourists who survived a deadly bombing attack in Yemen returned home.

They arrived at Incheon International Airport, west of Seoul, on Tuesday. Four of their fellow travelers were killed in the attack on Sunday.

Yemeni authorities say that al-Qaida was behind the bombing, which also killed their local guide. Three tourists were wounded.

Yemen is Osama bin Laden's ancestral homeland and has long been a center of militant activity.

Seoul's Foreign Ministry said two of the injured were among those who returned Tuesday and were taken to hospitals upon arrival. The third is still receiving medical treatment in Yemen.

Bodies of the deceased are to be brought home as early as this week. -- AP
