25 die in Bangladesh crash

DHAKA - AT LEAST 25 people were killed and 15 others were injured when a truck in which they were travelling skidded off a highway in Bangladesh on Sunday, police said.

The accident occurred in thick fog. The truck, carrying mostly labourers, crashed into a ditch at Ashiqpur near Tangail district town some 100 km northwest of the capital Dhaka. -- REUTERS
