BEIJING - CHINA'S state news agency says an enraged driver plowed his truck into a group of high school students and parents in southern China, killing four and wounding 20 of them.
The newswires agencies says police shot and killed the driver while he was still in the vehicle to prevent him from causing more casualties after the incident on Wednesday afternoon in Guangdong province's Zhuhai city.
The report cited bystanders as saying the driver rammed into the youths as they came out of class, killing three students and one parent. It says of the 20 who were hurt, three are in critical condition.
Thursday's report cited local residents as saying the driver was angry after a dispute with police some days earlier. It did not elaborate. -- AP
