S'pore swimmer tops 200m freestyle heats

SINGAPORE swimmer Bryan Tay topped heat 2 of the men's 200m freestyle in a new national record of 1min 50.41sec at the Beijing Olympics today.
His effort rewrote his national record of 1:52.09, set at the 2006 Asian Games.
