WEIGHTY matters of state are on the agenda during China's annual political season when parliament and its advisory body meet in Beijing. But for the delegates, most of whom have travelled to the capital from far-flung provinces, the trip itself is the stuff that memories are made of. Delegates representing minorities, the military and monks alike take time to snap photos in picturesque spots at the Great Hall of the People, where the meetings are being held.
